I planned to capture these beautiful tulips in the last sunrays, that would've given warm hues for all of the photos. Finally I photographed them during or right after sunset, but without any backlight. These three multicoloured ones really deserved some limelight while the others made the backgroung ful of life.

The scent of Pittosporum filled the street, and the buzzing of bees turned the bushes into real beehives. Amidst that bustle, a Scarce Swallowtail butterfly slowly explores flower by flower. A moment when nature fully opens up and allows us to glimpse its perfect fragrant ecosystem. Shot with a Canon 77D and Tamron 16-300 – proof that the best lens is the one you currently have in your hands.

The countryside around Alkmaar is a gentle mosaic of streams, farms, and historic mills. From April onward, these lands burst into life, transforming into vast, colorful expanses of blooming flowers — a true hyacinth sea stretching toward the horizon.

A quiet spring moment where soft waters drift through moss and light, wrapped in a gentle veil of bloom and mist.

Aren't these daffodils pretty? I think they are. Their appereance is one of the first signs of the awakening nature. The soft light was perfect for highlighting their pale colours while keeping the composition away from any vibrant hue.
And of course, it's fricking good to see the results of our elections from yesterday!

There are moments that call for sitting down, slowing down, and looking at eye level with the ground. In the midst of this vast sea of wheat, this single poppy stood its ground, offering a vibrant yet delicate contrast.
Capturing this scene with the Sony a6700 and the 70-350mm G lens allowed me to isolate that fragility, using the telephoto lens’s compression to transform the field into a soft, golden atmosphere. It was an exercise in minimalism and patience, waiting for the wind to give us a moment’s respite. Light editing in Lightroom to enhance the warmth of the wheat and the natural texture of the petals.

Hay momentos que requieren sentarse, bajar el ritmo y observar a la altura del suelo. En medio de este inmenso mar de trigo, esta amapola resistía solitaria, ofreciendo un contraste vibrante y delicado.
Capturar esta escena con la Sony a6700 y el 70-350mm G me permitió aislar esa fragilidad, aprovechando la compresión del teleobjetivo para convertir el campo en una atmósfera dorada y suave. Un ejercicio de minimalismo y paciencia esperando a que el viento nos diera un segundo de tregua. Edición ligera en Lightroom para potenciar la calidez del trigo y la textura natural de los pétalos.

Finalmente posso guardare fuori, respirare il profumo dei fiori e divertirmi vedendo gli uccellini volare. La mammina mi ha detto che non è ancora prudente scoprirmi del tutto, così ho messo una sciarpina leggera che fa pandant con il giardino! 🎀
