La Conca di Castelluccio di Norcia, con la sua maestosa distesa ai piedi dei Monti Sibillini, si rivela un capolavoro della natura in ogni stagione. In primavera, ho avuto il privilegio di immortalarla con le cime appena spruzzate di neve, mentre giochi di ombra e luce dipingevano il paesaggio con la grazia di una tela ottocentesca.
Tornare qui dopo il terremoto è stato un'esperienza intensa e commovente. Il silenzio sembrava più denso, carico di ricordi e di ferite ancora aperte. Ma la bellezza di questo luogo non si è piegata: tra le macerie e le cicatrici lasciate dal sisma, il vento continuava a scorrere sui prati, e la luce disegnava ancora trame meravigliose sulla valle. Sometimes, the best way to capture a subject is to ignore the Rule of Thirds entirely. By placing these teasel seed heads dead-center, I’ve traded the typical "flow" of a composition for a sense of deliberate focus and symmetry. While the Rule of Thirds is great for landscapes, centering the subject here emphasizes the intricate texture and verticality of the teasels. It gives the image a grounded, almost regal feel.
The sun is gently setting, casting a golden-orange glow over the fields and the lush green hillsides around Afidnes. From above, in an aerial shot, the commuter train can be seen having just left the small station behind, heading toward Chalkida.
