I really didn't expect to run into Lucid at Awesome Con DC as she's getting packed up to move soon. This is her "Springtime" version of Poison Ivy.
I used Filter Forge's "Dreamy" filter as the finishing treatment. What does everyone think?

I will soon be moving from Maryland, back to my home state of Pennsylvania. How can I resist posting a few last shots of the wild horses who live on Assateague Island?
Janice and I were admiring the colors in the tail of this horse as it grazed.

I wish I could have found a batch of there of these to create geometrical form. Oh well I think it came out pretty well considering I looked down after taking this to see a massive spider on my foot.
It´s springtime in Brazil, but it feels like summer around here...

After ten years, I finally sprung for a new shower curtain. The other was starting to look tired and weary, so we passed it along and upgraded to this beauty. I love how fresh and clean it makes everything feel, like there's a little bit of springtime blooming all year long.
Slice of Life Project - What Matters to Me
Never the trees on the banks were more beautiful than they are now, only the bouquets of branches emerging. Above them a Nicolas Poussin sky.
The flooded plain is itself another sky, expanded domain of wild swans and fishermen installed along the dykes. Both are capable of ignoring, torn from the banks, the jetsam washed up against the fences, caught on the stakes.
The magnitude of a valley allow us to banish from our gaze the tide of rubbish from a world in disarray. There remain the main outlines, the overall framework and all those reflections indicating a patching up of the pools at the bottom of the expanded river.
You could imagine, if the climate were more agreeable, in all urbanity, a crowd of bathers having fun swimming in the lake so temporary.
Temporary sprawl, oscillating between gray and sepia. Appearing motionless, only a slight seething indicates forward motion.
The night improvises another story : the earth and the water being offered incense by the moon and the shadows.
