When you are in the right place, and the lighting seems to be right, and you have your finger on the shutter button of your camera ... there's only one thing to do--take a picture, and hope for the best!! I love springtime!
Mom and me in our front yard - the photo wasn't taken in June, that's just when the film was developed. :-)

Spring is such a lovely time full of contrasts, there is still snow in the mountains and the grass and trees are getting green. Spring comes much later here up in Norway than most other European countries, but when it first starts it is the most wonderful place in the world to be! :)
It's officially Spring and although we can't go out because of the Covid-19 lockdown, I'm glad that I have nature around me so that I can take these photos without breaking the rules.
I hope we'll have a nice Summer after all. Meanwhile, let's stay home, safe and strong.
France, 2020.
Yet another Wood Duck photo. I can't help myself! Drake Wood Ducks are beautiful even with a little schmutz on the bill. These two drakes have completed their springtime job of procreating. Now it's time for some fun with the boys while the hens incubate the eggs and raise the babies. Photographed from a blind at Brick Pond Wetland Preserve in Owego, NY. May 3, 2015
