It's been a long Winter! I can't wait to see all the beautiful flowers in my garden once more!

"It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!" ~ Mark Twain

Food for thought:

"People can be divided into three groups: Those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, and those who wonder what happened." : ) John Newborn

Just as Spring time is the land Awakening, it is also a good time to press the restart button for our own awakening...and if you're like me, there is always something in my life to "wake up" and find good reason to "press that restart button." Like this photograph, at first things may seem a little blurry, but slowing but surely things come into focus as we step out into the land of change! It's a wonderful thing and so freeing!

Have a great Wednesday in all you do!

And keep up those beautiful, stunning and unique captures! You all are amazing!

So we do not focus on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

While I didn't take this today,it was 60 degrees in Rahtford and .I just wish it smelled as sweet. But even though spring will be late this year, its wonderful to feel the sun and hear the birds and smell the mold (yes, I have allergies) because it means its almost time to plant!!!!

Yay for being a dirty girl!!

Today it was a sunny wonderful springday in Berlin. So I went out at my lunchbreak and took this "snapshot".

Heute war ein schöner Frühlingstag in Berlin. Daher ging ich in meiner Mittagspause raus und konnte diesen "Schnappschuss" aufnehmen.

this little fellow was causing quite a commotion among the flamingos at a local park, spring fever no doubt!

we often come across them on our golf estates, they're quite skittish and duck into the bush before you can get close to them.

For pca60 – Topic: "Spring"

WIT: My idea for this assignment was to try to capture the restless energy that spring instills. But just when spring arrived on the calendar it started snowing here. A lot. So I set up inside, camera on a book. Done with winter, tapping my feet, doing a little dance, wanting spring.

Three Crocus, growing in the backyard. Crocus are hard to catch here in Atlanta, they close up without direct sunlight and only last for a couple days in bloom before they wither away. I caught these at about 2pm when the sun was on them the strongest, had to block some of the light with my doormat :D . I am attaching another shot of them at 4:00 pm when the shadow of a tree had fallen on them.

These are unedited from the original shot except for cropping.
