Sunset and silhouettes on the Atlantic Ocean. Gaspesie, Canada. #1

Another of my winter sunset collection. The shadows and colorful horizon made me stop on the road 132 to take this shot :)

Perfect place to be around animals and nature and be able to observe spectacular sunsets and surises every day. You can rent this house in winter as well as spring summer or fall. Sometimes we can see New-Brunswick at the horizon, if weather permits it.

Big On Black

Samson has some crazy spring fever today. Temperature was at 62 degrees last I checked. So I've got the windows open and he's loving every second of it.

It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so! ~Mark Twain

.... this was possible today. After a long time filled with grey and cold days we had about 6 hours sunshine today. Although it was not so warm but the feeling of Spring was there during my walk this afternoon. I am looking forward to see such wonderful blooming scenes like in the photo above.

It has been over six months since I saw a landscape without snow and ice in it. Spring starts everywhere March 21st but in Northern Wisconsin it starts May 1st. This was the scene as I approached a bend in the Manitowish River north of Boulder Junction Wisconsin on a bright sunny morning. I was so excited to see such a beautiful scene that as I stepped out on a rock to get more of the reflection in the photo my foot slipped off and ended up in the river. Thank goodness it was only a foot deep there.

Jinxie was really wired up yesterday! I guess he's got spring fever! He ran up and down this tree so many times, and bit and clawed at the branches like he was trying to kill it. He's just crazy!

It was one of the few quiet, still days we get in St.John's. Set off longings for spring or some such. Deadman's Pond, St.John's, NL.

The first Daffy has arrived on a very windy day which forced me to abandon any thought of getting a sharp shot. Moral of the story: when its fuzzy add a vignette. Thanks for the look and have a great evening.
