February 3 and it's nearly 60F here today! So far we have had hardly any winter. I just hope we don't get a late freeze once the plants start thinking spring has arrived!

From outside, looking through you can see the stone bridge that runs over a little creek. All the little details are wonderful!

Captured just after a gentle rain, this delicate peony unfolds in layers of pale pink and cream. A quiet favorite from the season.

Not far from the top of the steps leading up to the A610 from the Cromford Canal. (Just west of the large roundabout under the A38).

Alder Catkins are nowhere near as graceful as Hazel ones, but it's a sign that spring is about to unfurl.
