Spring is finally here with new blossom on an ornamental weeping pear tree and the silvery green leaves in the background

It has been a very wet and cold Spring here in Victoria, Australia..bring on some sunshine!
Feliz Quinta Flower!
The vivid red of sumac leaves in autumn always looks great, but the emerging sumac leaves during the spring are also attractive.
A daffodil in the morning light of spring.
Starting to do some work with my new nikor 105mm macro now that spring is here and flowers are a poppin'.
Enjoy the day. Comments welcome!
Sorry for being away for a while. I've been having computer issues and internet problems. But they have been resolved and I am back online with some new pictures to share!
So yesterday it was near 80 degrees here in Vermont and I can't believe but I finally was able to find some color in the grey and boring tones that winter left us with.
Spring is here! FINALLY!
Spring rolls just like my mom makes. She likes to use bulgogi (Korean style beef) and I like to eat it. She makes a "sauce" out of fresh squeezed lemon juice, a little sugar and red pepper flakes. Healthy and tasty!
Red tulips and yellow daffodils growing in my back garden.
Ah, spring!!
Explore, #360 March 6, 2008 Love you all!! :-)
I guess it's really not a surprise at all. Spring in the mid-west can take some wild swings.
We got an inch or two last night and there's a chance for more Thursday! I was mowing my yard yesterday!!
This is a tree in our back yard that was getting ready to bloom when the snow hit. I think it's a Linden tree but not sure.
On a walk around my neighbourhood in Spring to get shots of the wonderful Spring flowers. September 18, 2015 Christchurch New Zealand.
In the rather bleak landscape of early Spring, it is lovely to find a patch of colour in these little purple crocuses.
FOREVER SPRING
The only real spring of my life
Besides the Love of Christ
Holds my life's key
It’s called po-e-try
Word revealing
Stealing from my thoughts
Out of my brain into the light
Now you have to know that I will never see night
Spring time lies within my pen
Always New
Forever fresh
spring rains falling
Re-newing me
I’ve been blessed
Could be sad
But no, I choose to be glad
Can I pass this test?
Have I gone mad?
So many days, I leave my body
Floating around in a world of ink
Have you been there?
I’ve been everywhere
On mars
In a race car
Floating off yonder somewhere into the blue
How about you, you wanta be brand new?
Grab a pen
Grab a paper
Hurry, hurry
Filtering through my head
Write it down, let it be read
Who knows, maybe it will be read after I'm dead?
Oh well, don't matter, I must write
Write I must
My heart speaks at all times
Hugged by words
Kissed by commas
Adored by the English Language
Now, do I put a quotation mark there?
If not there, then where?
I hope you understand
I can write all things
Words at my command
I will stay spring time as long as I live
If my fingers can hold a pen
Green is what I’ll be
Never no winter
Never no fall
Maybe a tid-bit of summer
And that is not all
Oops here it comes, spring
Spring is singing in my heart
Listen……………..
Cords of purple and yellow
Soprano shadows in the wind
Playing in mammie's shadow
As she hangs clothes on string
Crocus, tulips and daffodils
A birds nest on every limb
Morning just broke up on the meadow
Baby rabbits scampering around
Colored Easter eggs to every child in town
The hammer swings
Rusty nails all in a row
Healing for hurting
Beauty for ashes
Immortality is screaming in my head
Something I must not dread
Stay away Fall
Stay away Winter
Sing sweet Spring
He set me free to live forever
Up there where the soul will never die
A place called Heaven.......

Another shot of a beautiful willow warbler. Not singing this time but just enjoying the spring sunshine.
Meadows near our rancho.
In this sunny spring day, they are still covered with water.
We managed to reach a deserted area with dry feet.
Here we were able to shoot some nice footage with Marzka walking topless throuth this beautiful landscape.
Stay tuned for clips and a longer movie.

Every season looks differently at beautiful Hakone Gardens in Saratoga, California. I took this photo on a recent Saturday morning before meditation. It's spring time, the cherry blossom is already over.
Do you recognize the title?
I processed a balanced HDR photo from three RAW exposures. I reduced the color saturation of everything but the red bush to give the scene an artsy feeling.

You can see a partially broken concrete ring around the actual spring. The flow goes to the right (out of view) and into Sixmile Creek just a few feet away.
another one from 2013, and a bit out of focus :)

The first spring warmth turns the newly molten ice inte a sunny fog spectacle.
I find forest photography terribly hard, so I'm happy when a shot like this comes up.
Spring has finally been found, and our coulees are slowly turning green. I love Spring! The dogs are happy in whatever season, but better weather means more walks, more work, and of course more fun!
Mountain Hair taken on Sundays tour. The Hares are in various colour changes for Spring/Summer. Some are still very much grey/white whilst others are like this one which is mostly brown. A fantastic animal to capture on camera and not just in Winter. I am waiting to see them in the purple Heather which should be soon.
Upon a nice mid-spring day,
Let's take a look at Nature's way.
Breathe the scent of nice fresh air,
Feel the breeze within your hair.
The grass will poke between your toes,
Smell the flowers with your nose.
Clouds form shapes within the skies,
And light will glisten from your eyes.
Hear the buzzing of the bees,
Climb the tallest willow trees.
Look across the meadow way,
And you shall see a young deer play.
Pick the daisies as they grow,
Watch a gentle cold stream flow.
Know the sounds of water splash,
Catch its glimmer in a flash.
When altogether all seems sound,
Lay yourself upon the ground.
Take a moment to inhale,
And listen to Nature tell her tale...
