I enjoyed a day of spring. Nice large of course. Taken from the little private(!) jetty at the south end of the lake. Very calm and peaceful (and warm!)

The wind blows gently and the flowers dance happily on the ground! Spring is here.

This small fishless pond was bursting with Spring Peepers! They were going crazy with the rain.

We have Northern Flickers in my neighborhood but this is the first time I have heard one here in full out breeding mode calling for a mate. It worked though I did eventually see a female show up. I hope it works out and we get more Northern Flickers around.

I was on Sumas Mountain yesterday and watched a pair mating up a cottonwood. It is spring!

Caught this Robin Red Breast the other day waiting for spring to arrive.

It felt like spring this morning it probably is just a break in the weather, but it was good to get out anyway.
