Picture Spring - Day 3
Take 30 steps and see where it leads me! Onto my balcony and my colourful window boxes of flowers. These are pink anthemis and I just love their simple beauty!

These grooves in the road used to carry the sledges hauled by horses from the quarry below - now they are just another obstacle for walkers ankles and cyclists tyres! Looking towards Issues Edge down Springs Road, Holmfirth

One of my favorite places to wander is eastern Washington in the spring because of the atmospheric conditions. This is just before the sun set. Karen and I were racing to get to a place to stop the car before this light and cloud show disappeared. Just up the road is a beautiful abandoned house that we also managed to capture. Some days images just fall into our laps, while other days one can't buy an image.
This was just processed in RAW and photoshop, with a final touch of LAB color to enhance the colors in the image.
My Maltese girl name Fela during our today's walk on the meadow. Like every dogs - she loves to run :)

Spring break put us in Cal Academy of Science, SFO and we came across some baby chicks in their new hatchery. The lady incharge of the exhibit said the chicks were about 3 days old. They were so much cuter in person. Here is one doing a "hokey Pokey" dance for us.

It's warm. The park is so busy that I'm a little worried.
The pigeons are flying in the sky, chased by the frolicking children.
A pair of spring cubs checking out their human observers with a bit of trepidation. Mom had left them near us for protection of a couple of near by boars while she went fishing.
