Jody Spring is a side spring to the main attraction at Silver Glen Springs Recreation Area in the Ocala National Forest, but this tucked away spring and its photogenic run is very worth a visit. It is accessible via a short trail from the main spring area and is off limits to swimmers.
Spring comes early to the Sonoran desert but we have to get through January and this present cold spell first.

Old farm converted to parkland still has lilacs, apples and plums growing along the trails, along with the old cottonwoods and will shrubbery

Very little opportunity to get out and take photos at the moment whilst my Mum stays with us so here's one taken in February last year. Thanks for all the lovely comments and favs on yesterday's little Robin.
Yes, it's a week early and it's still cold in some places. Of course, nature has her own calendar. Late this morning, it was beautifully bright and clear in Jerusalem, in the mid-50's/f.
And, it took some sliding to bring up the tones and detail here. Happy Sliders Sunday!

Spring is here! There's no better way to enjoy the warm rays of the sun than reading outside and breathing some fresh air! Of course, you still have to dress so as not to catch a cold!
This little figurine is roughly 2” tall (sitting! 😉) and it sits on two river stones about ¼” thick each.

Beautiful cards from the Osho Zen tarot deck. This is a smaller deck, but I cropped the main card in this photo so it measures 3 inches in height. The width is 2.50 inches. HMM, everyone.
I've been wanting to try this shot for a long time. This simple idea was SO tough to execute. My success rate in timing the droplet was only about 1-in-10. Each time I got a shot with a drop in it, I then had to chimp the image and adjust the flower position to improve the focus of the flower in the droplet. As you can imagine, It ended up taking quite lot of shots to produce just a few keepers.
Lighting was a single bare flash from camera right.

A natural wonder, viewed from the canoe. Maximum depth is 26 ft at the spring's vent, but cave divers here have penetrated to depths of 75 ft.
