Me & my friends embarked on a mini-adventure down to the very nice Abiqua fall. Awesome water flow & pattern & beautiful columnar rocks framing it make it a very unique sight ;)
Se hai il coraggio di guardare la luce, imita la primavera e vai avanti verso di essa.
If you have the courage to look at the light, mimics the spring and go forward towards it.

An up close view of one of the blossoms of one of the many trees that are flowering right now in Vancouver. I am guessing it is a type of flowering cherry, but am not sure. All I know is the flowers were a couple of weeks early this year....
Winter moves out leaving space for Spring to begin squeezing in before Summer sneaks up on us, Time takes no hostages for sure. With uncertainty pervasive these days, we want something we Can count on, like our beloved seasons. Each season offers up a gift to us, so open your hearts and enjoy them all. Walking on Shannon Lane today and trying to push the World News from my mind as I walked. The Sun finally popped out from behind the cloud filled dark and gray skies. Ironic today how when the clouds finally opened up and the warmth of the Sun was felt. My state of mind improved and I saw my small corner of the World look a little brighter. Naturally I looked for some visual candy to capture and share here with friends. Knowing that something positive would happen if I looked closely I’d see “What Spring Brings” every year and that is rain, fresh air, color and most of all Peace. Thanks for viewing my work. Hey don’t forget to Wash your hands🙏.
Pale pink magnolia and white Spanish bluebells on a sunny day in Oakfield Flower Gardens... Mynydd Twyn-glas mountain is in the distance.
Let’s go on a spring picnic down by the river where the flowers bloom and the birds sing…everybody, bring your camera.
Green Spring in Deltona, Florida is located in Green Springs Park, just near the north shore of Lake Monroe on the St. Johns River. The spring, off-limits to swimmers, is famous for its color, sometimes light green and sometimes emerald, changing with the amount of sulfur in the water. The sulfur and lack of trampling by swimmers has allowed the spring to develop a diverse range of unique vegetation. The spring is naturally a prime spot for photographers. Besides the spring, the trail system at the local park contains a pristine view of Florida palm hammock in the St. Johns floodplain.
Green Springs Park is near the historic area of Enterprise, which was once an important rail depot that helped to serve Florida's developing east coast as well as a steamboat port along the St. Johns, a water highway leading into Central Florida whose navigable areas end on Lake Monroe. The park is joined to nearby Gemini Springs Park by a multi-use trail called the Spring-to-Spring Trail.

Took a walk around the yard and was surprised how much moss was sprouting. To me, this color means "spring."
After 3 consecutive major winter storms we finally got weather fit for the spring flowers.
Tulipa tarda (Tulipa dasystemon), a common ornamental plant, native to mountainous regions of Asia. The flowers close up at night, avoiding the nice early and late day light. The black perimeter of the anthers (pollen producing organ) is natural, not a photoshopped element.
