Saw this beautiful tree, being thrashed by wind and rain, it stood strong amongst the white and pink blossoms of the surrounding tree.
Found a place to park, tried to get a 'good' image, but the weather was getting worse... my Nikon can stand rain, however....
I looked and saw on the ground that already a few had been ripped off, the old wood looked beautiful, I carefully picked it up and brought it home, to photograph and enjoy.

I'm so sorry for not catching up on everyone's stream lately. I'm still having trouble with my arms so I can't spend too much time in front of the computer. I'm so grateful for every comment that I get from you. Thank you very much!
This is my friend Lisa Marie. Last week we went out to shoot together. Ofcourse we had to make a stop at this wonderful tree! Its still chilly in Sweden, but the spring has come!
My gardens are just beginning to bloom. I can't wait to start adding flowers to the garden. One of my favourite spring hobbies is gardening.

Dandelion Spring a sure sign of warmer weather when you see these start to pop up everywhere, found in North Carolina.
Poppies, lupine, and other desert varieties of Spring wildflowers in a modest superbloom. Taken off North Lake Road (FR459) within the Bartlett Lake area, located near the town of Carefree, north of Phoenix, Arizona.
We want spring! Real one, warm, not hot, for cute layered outfits, windbreaker jackets or even wellingtons with rain capes, but let it be sunny at least!
Here in Poland we're struggling now with quite cold spring - don't get me wrong, I'm not whining, it's just we have so little warm & sunny months throughout the year that after winter we want spring asap. And it looks like it's late this year. Soon, in the beginning of May we're celebrating our national holidays, an anniversary of creating our Constitution and such. It's also connected with a log weekend and few days off, so we usually plan a small getaways and trips. And we want a good weather for that of course.
I took an opportunity with daylight to take some photos of the doll I wanted to style in a spring manner as a sign of protest again this cold spring ;) Also, for a long time I wanted a doll with some serious curls or afro, and there was an opportunity for some small DIY project with this one. I really like her hair now! :)
Cistern Spring is a very large hot spring in the Norris Geyser Basin, very close to the pool for Steamboat Geyser. The two features are linked. Steamboat only erupts on rare occasions, and most of the time when Steamboat is dormant, Cistern Spring constantly overflows and deposits new sinter in the area, continually expanding and killing trees around the spring... info from the internet web

Blue skies and warming weather has melted almost all the ice and snow now. Just last week my husband saw 12 deer right here in the background of the watershed. Northern CT has had its full share of winter this year. I hope that means our late spring will be equally memorable.

Stumbled across this pathway around the Tyntesfield Estate.

Today was most spring like, with temperatures up to around 15C. We paid a short visit to Fletcher Moss Gardens (on our way to Dunham) to see the spring bulbs, though the snowdrops and some of the crocuses were already starting to go over. It's so lovely to see all the flowers returning.

We really had a mild winter here in Ohio but when these guys appear I know that spring is around the corner. (and no, there are no eagles anywhere in this picture)

Spring is for repotting the little trees. I often use instant photos (and my phone) to document the process.
This is an elm, formerly part of a Saikei planting I did in the Summer of 2019. Other than some pruning and weeding I had not done much with it. It was not looking good and I thought it might be dead. I repotted it in early March (7th) and moved it into the plant room for recovery. It had spent the entire winter outdoors. It has responded quickly and vigorously.
The pot is not right for it, I find it too robust, but it is what I had and I needed to give the roots some space.
The film is Fuji Instax Mini, there was some sort of damage which may have been the result of some kind of pressure applied to the pack as it was placed in the camera. This is the first piece of film and the subsequent ones did not have similar "fault." I like the effect and may try to induce something similar in the future.
