My intent was to capture the essence of Spring, with the sunlight, green color and flowing streams. Hope you enjoy.

Winter aconite (Eranthis hyemalis) in our garden, taken on the same day as this one.

A couple of kilometres and some meters in hight can make such a big difference!

Hope you all have a good start into the week and into spring! :)

A brief visit to Attenborough Nature Reserve in Nottinghamshire this evening. The light and calmness were great. Without a wide lens to hand, I had to use my phone to get an image.

My poor little Narcissis have been neglected since last spring (they were left in a pot outside and neither fed or watered all year) and they still put in an appearance this year despite the harsh weather. Guess they're not gonna do much better anymore, now that I've cut them LOL

thanks for all the views, comments and faves :)

Late post today, didn't have time to upload before heading home from NY state. Just got back and will catch up with all your photos from this past week. Hope you all had a good one!

Some flowers from late spring (May 30). Captured at Longwood Gardens in Pa, with the iPhone and Olloclip Macro Lens lightly edited on the iPad in Snapseed.

Forgot what kind of flowers were.

Have a black and white version that I might post in the future.

Lovely hyacinths...spring heralds in my mom's garden.

This week in SSC:

"Signs of Spring"

What better sign of spring is there than flowers and ducks? :)) I found these flowers at the nursery and for a bonus, I saw my first "Ring Neck" duck on the pond this week. I love his purple head! Sure signs that spring is on its way!

The growth and life of spring caught both figuratively and literally as layers of colorful flowers and grasses bask in the golden light of a setting sun.

I`ve got my bike ready yesterday for a first ride of the year. It was worth it even though I had a 6km (3.7Miles) strong headwind on the way back.

ich habe gestern mein Fahrrad klar gemacht für eine erst Fahrt in diesem Jahr. Es hat sich gelohnt obwohl ich auf dem Rückweg 6km (3,7Miles) starken Gegenwind hatte.
