A couple of OK photos here but my little IXUS 850IS just can't compete with EOS models in low light ;)
The weather is so nice, I should be outside taking pictures but I've had this idea in my mind all morning.

Ah, spoon bread. I always know how skimpy my pocketbook gets by how often I make spoon bread, which is the one recipe from this book I have made the most (other than baking powder biscuits). It's cheap, it's easy, it's nourishing, it's good. I'm also tired of it, since it now reminds me of being without spending money. I tried to jazz it up a bit by adding some pureed chipotle chiles, which was a tasty decision, but unfortunately not a good one for my stomach (I got heartburn every time I ate some).

Left Alberto and crew to go to this. It was full of frat dudes. We left after about 45 mins and went to the Landing, where Alberto and crew randomly showed up.
Think Egg and Spoon race but using knobs instead of eggs! Lots of races with a greatly supportive crowd and a handicap system to help the little ones get a head start! The Dorset Knob Throwing and the Frome Valley Food Festival is an annual event which takes place in the village of Cattistock deep in beautiful Dorset.
The Dorset Knob throwing event features lots of activities using Moores Dorset Knobs - a hard baked roll / biscuit. The sports include knob throwing,
knob and spoon races and pinning the knob on the Cerne Giant. There is also a food festival with food producers coming from all over Dorset and neighbouring counties to seel their food.
Music, dance and cookery demos add to the fun on the day. All the profits go towards local Charities and the organisers are grateful for the support and sponsorship of local businesses. Next year's event is on May 3rd 2015 so why no come along?
