“As the devil spoke
We spilled out onto the floor
And the pieces broke and
the people wanted more
And the rugged wheel is turning
another round
Dorian, carry on
Will you come along to the end ?
Will you ever let us carry on ?” ~Agnes Obel

~for the Beleaguered Islands of the Bahamas 🇧🇸
Hurricane Dorian spared St Augustine, FL as it
churned up Florida’s east coast. The storm was
devastating for our neighbors in the
Bahamas, though. We pray for them...

Front wheel of a dirt motorbike and its shadow. Taken today with my new iPhone 15. I found the x5 zoom very empowering! My broken LUMIX had 32x zoom so I thought I wasn’t going to be impressed by 5x - but I am! Plus immediate process directly on phone and post.

“Thirty spokes share the hub of a wheel;
yet it is its center that makes it useful.
You can mold clay into a vessel;
yet, it is its emptiness that makes it useful.
Cut doors and windows from the walls of a house;
but the ultimate use of the house
will depend on that part where nothing exists.
Therefore, something is shaped into what is;
but its usefulness comes from what is not.”

On 2 July 2025, Zarah Sultana spoke in the UK Parliament against the proscription of Palestine Action as a terrorist group. The UK parliament redacted her statement that "We are all Palestine Action" from Hansard. The statement appears in the video of the debate. ▪️Palestine Action, which has never harmed anyone but which draws attention to the ethnic cleansing being carried out by the West in Palestine, has been proscribed by UK MPs, many of whom receive donations from Israel supporters. A Britain First member murdered an MP shouting 'Britain First' but that movement wasn't proscribed. Israeli exceptionalism is upheld continually by the UK government and is also reflected in BBC pro-Israeli coverage. novaramedia.com/2025/06/16/bbc-systematically-biased-agai..., Racism, which sees Palestinians as less than human, is a clear feature of UK politics. (‼️Before someone rushes to delete this, or to arrest me, please be aware that I have not said in this note that I support any movement‼️)▪️▪️▪️▪️ Is iontach an rud é an tsaoirse cainte nó go ndeir tú rud nach dtaitníonn leo.▪️Mae rhyddid barn yn wych, hyd nes y dwedwch rywbeth sy ddim yn eu plesio.▪️Dispar eo frankiz ar gomz, ken ho po lâret tra pe dra hag a gavont displijus. ▪️Is iontach an rud é an tsaoirse cainte nó go ndeir tú rud nach dtaitníonn leo. ▪️Freedom of speech is a great thing until you say something they don't like.

To me, it is a completely lost art to imagine traveling in a conveyance like this, much less building one. Heck, I want a seat warmer, and intermittent wipers.... ODC : lost art
