treat yourself to this amazing and haunting piece of music
"Once, man and those in the water were linked. They inspired us. They spoke of the future. Man listened and it became real. But man does not listen very well. Time is running out for a happy ending."

Da wird mancher Automotiv-Designer neidisch :-)
Maybe even Enzo Ferrari was inspired by such spokes.
A close-up of the trishaw that can be seen in its entirety in the next photo. These two will be the last in my series on Malaccan trishaws, some of you may be relieved to know ;-)
Playing with lines, shapes and colors this morning. Once again trying to make the mundane interesting. I recently found another podcast, Unthinkable by Jay Acunzo and finished listening to the episode called 2% better. Jay has helped me change my mindset about my project. There are times that I feel like it is pointless and a waste of time but it is MY project and it is for me and I am ok with putting in extra time to get what I want because it makes me happy. Before undertaking my photo project I would not have considered myself creative, I am still not sure that defines me but I love to experiment and see what the world looks like cropped through my lens. Every day I just want to learn and improve and maybe, just maybe I can make it even 2% better.
Everyone has to have a shot of the Great Court roof at the British Museum and the Millennium Wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames. So this completes my set! :)
Part of the ministract set.

I've been lucky on my first flight to Rio, in the seat next to mine I found Anapaula, a pretty carioca girl (that's how the citizens of Rio de Janeiro are called in Brazil)
I didn't know a single word of Portuguese, but first with Spanish and then with English we spoked for many hours and Anapaula was very helpful with her advices. I was traveling without any reservations, I knew that the nightlife was stronger in the Copacabana area and that was where I intended find a hotel. She told me that in Copacabana, during the carnival period, the prices tripled and told me to follow her to a nice hotel in the Flamengo area, near where she lived. Then she also found me a ticket for the Sambadrome (unavailable on the eve of the parades). So we became good friends and hung out for my entire first vacation in the "Cidade Maravilhosa"
Don't you recognize your Marino? It's me, without uniform and after a few years from the Princess Cruises days

I passed by Spoke House a bike shop and they had the tree and presents set up in one of the roll up overhead door openings. I kept the frame tight to cut out much of the business and just bring a pixel load of joy.
When YouTube's algorithm gets it right. Wowsers, I have no idea who this artist is ... but the lyrics spoke to me.
