Rauðlaukur sleppt í blómavasa

Taken for Active Assignment Weekly AAW tribute week. The idea is to take someone else from AAW and "copy" a photo they took.

I still cannot figure out how to make a thumbnail appear, even after having done it once before.

Anyway WIT:

Glass of ice water on the picnic table outside in the afternoon sunlight. Had my fourteen year old drop ice into the glass as I took a photo upon photo on "Sports" mode as I was not sure what to set my camera at, and this seemed easier today. I took this and another and I think the other, although not as good of a splash... has better colors so I am going to use it for the challenge.

Found on an early Saturday morning walk through Düsseldorf Flingern.

After a few shots, I realised that I was unconsciously chasing images that all had some splash of yellow or orange. So this became the theme of the morning.

Shot of a boy playing in the fountains in Piccadilly gardens in Manchester at lunch time.

I had my son toss a snowball into the icy water in the middle of this piece of floating ice. It took me a few tries to time it so that I could capture this effect.

'Splash at the Cathedral' Opening 4th Sept 2013

A moving picture ;-)

These ducks were actually fighting over a piece of bread.

Taken some years ago but I like to add different types of pictures to my stream.

Taken hand held at a so called 'duck cage' at Ameland. A duck cage is a very old well preserved area that was (back in the days) used for catching ducks and sell them to hotels etc. It used to be booming business but fortunately, that time has long gone. This particular cage was open for excursions only and it is very large and open, not used as a cage any more. The ducks are free and not in any kind of danger.

Cloned some spots away plus auto enhancement on light, colour and contrast.

Splash da Impala nos pés. Adorei! Ficou super simples e bonito.
