A jungle monk living in the Thai countryside accepts alms from a lay Buddhist near Saraburi, Thailand, Southeast Asia on Dec. 3, 2007. "Jungle" or "forest" monks focus on the study of meditation and devote themselves to more traditional ascetic practices away from urban areas. They are sometimes considered more pure in their discipline and devotion to Theravada Buddhism than city monks, who are primarily scholars and civic figures.

Thank you for your interest in my artwork. I have been selling online for nearly 10 years and I absolutely love it! It has allowed me to sell my original paintings and prints to thousands of collectors worldwide. I have a Masters degree in Fine Art from The University of Tampa, but consider myself self-taught. True talent is revealed not through schooling but through painting.

Miss Dunagiri can now at least pace around her enclosure...unleashed. The area has also been levelled and is cleaned daily. With a bit of design for these enclosures, we can provide a cleaner and nicer environment to the animals, and also actually increase efficiency of manure production and make cattle-management easier. Our villages might need rocket science too, but some simple improvisations can bring immediate benefits. Enough knowledge already exists - its access to this knowledge that is missing.
its all here...is it not? still trying to figure out 'asti-bhati-priya' ... is it just the soul manifesting itself? can someone please guide...

Practicing yoga for inner peace
In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in the constant noise and distractions around us. We're bombarded with information, notifications, and responsibilities, and it can be difficult to find a moment of calm and clarity amidst the chaos.
That's where meditation comes in. Meditation is a practice that has been used for centuries to quiet the mind, reduce stress, and promote overall well-being. But what exactly is meditation, and how can you get started with this powerful practice?
At its core, meditation involves training your mind to focus on a specific object, thought, or activity, with the goal of achieving a state of mental clarity and inner peace. This can be accomplished through a variety of techniques, including deep breathing, visualization, and mindfulness.
Benefits of meditation
The benefits of meditation are numerous and well-documented. Research has shown that regular meditation practice can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve focus and concentration, lower blood pressure, and even boost the immune system.
Some tips to get you started include finding a quiet, comfortable space to meditate, setting a regular meditation schedule, and starting with just a few minutes of meditation per day, gradually increasing the length of your sessions over time.
So, how can you get started with meditation? Our Beginner's Guide to Meditation is the perfect place to start.

Badhakonasana is aptly named for the way it is carried out with both feet tucked close to the groin and clasped tightly with the hands, as though tied or bound together in a particular angle. However, it is more popularly known as Butterfly Pose due to the movement of the legs, which gives the appearance of a butterfly flapping its wings.
