I wasn't falling over...the photo is level...A unique view I have not seen before

The Cathedral Spires perch above Sky Pond in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. To get here for sunrise in winter is a bit of an endeavor, as the trailhead is some 4+ miles distant, there is significant unconsolidated snow to navigate, and the wind can be a bit stiff at times. Here, I am gazing to the east, with the wind at my back, standing on the frozen surface of the lake.

I'll be leaving the country for awhile (backpacking in Chile), so won't be able to appreciate any of your work for some time. I look forward to checking in when I get back!

St. Philomena’s Church in Mysore, built in 1936 by Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV, is among the tallest churches in India and a stunning example of Neo-Gothic design inspired by Cologne Cathedral in Germany. Dedicated to St. Philomena, a 3rd-century Christian martyr from Greece who was venerated for her faith and miracles, the church houses a relic of the saint brought from the Vatican. With its soaring twin spires and vibrant stained-glass windows, it stands as a majestic blend of history, faith, and architectural beauty. ✨⛪
