Þema vikunnar er hraði, þetta er algengasta birtingarform hraða hér í Lundi.
The theme of this week is speed, this is the most common way it apears here in Lund
This guy tried to out run a Highway Patrol Car and went the wrong way on Hanesmall Blvd.(a main thorough-fare) on a Saturday night in Winston-Salem. We arrived just after the ambulance. Several injuries but no deaths thank goodness. He was actually going in the other direction. Oh, by the way he didn't have a divers license among many other factors.
Well?
Our theme this week in Macro Monday's is "Speed"
Every Monday, we post one to five macro photos depicting the weekly challenge. This week's chalenge is "Speed."
Ten to 15 miles per hours is FAST to some things like milkweed that would love that speed to spread their seed elsewhere. This milkweed seed was almost blown off of the plant by the speed of the Sunday morning wind in a park that I was walking through.
Poplar Ave becomes more of an alleyway as you go north from Central Street. They recently removed the west half of the speed bumps on this street, making it easier to navigate on a bike.
For the WOW this week we got the word velocity. This word is basically meaning movement so it could be anything, I chose for mine to use two people and get them to copy two simple actions which would be reflected in the photo which it is. The way it defines velocity is that there simply doing actions and you can tell they did move. This photo took a lot of perfection since sometimes my ISO was too low or my white balance was just crazy and also the glaring light coming from the windows was no help at all so it was a lot of changing positions and angles. For the vantage point I put my camera on the floor since I had no access to a tripod and then I got changed my white balance to shady since it was that sort of weather and had a shutter speed of about 20 seconds so ten seconds for each action they did so it was clearly defined. I’m very proud of this picture is has a lot of life to it and it represents also games and fun this photo is definitely velocity.
