One of my favorite tulips from the Lyman Conservatory show, this is Tulip 'Blue Spectacle.' Blue Spectacle is a big double tulip (also classified as a 'peony-flowering tulip') that really looks like a peony. She's gorgeous with blue-sheened violet petals and, like the 'Salmon Impression,' I posted yesterday, a brilliant cobalt blue interior.

Quand même, au dernier moment, l'espace du ciel sur le volcan s'est transformé, contre la couche de nuages gris, à gauche.
Trouée magique, aux tons chauds qui évoquent une sorte de chaudron.
On a bien aimé.
Pas de prouesse photographique pour moi.
Je ne la cherche jamais vraiment d'ailleurs.
Je joue toujours sur l'émotion, le moment, la chose qui enseigne, fait du bien au coeur.

Mais je suis contente du résultat.
Il y a quelque chose, une émotion, et une ambiance elle incontestable.
Voilà.
C'est pour vous les amis. Un petit plaisir sorti du classique coucher. Enfin je crois. Et c'est ce que j'ai vu.
Notons que je ne retouche jamais les images. Vous voyez exactement ce que j'ai vu.
Et ce jour là, le SPECTACLE, cela en est un, m'a suffit.. Merci au ciel.

Some moths have some very strange names and you wonder who dreamt them up. Its very obvious where this one got its name.
A starling murmuration at Belvide Reservoir in Staffordshire yesterday evening. A spectacular sight, but conditions very gloomy and overcast and not ideal for photography. If there's a decent sunset this evening, I might try to get back there. Reed-beds pretty well flattened now though!
This is the first photo I've processed on the Mac Studio with the 27" screen. My jaw drops at how much detail in my own photos from the Canon EOS RP I couldn't see before.
