In the past few weeks starlings have been gathering at dusk to form murmurations. Not huge like sometimes at Mersehead, but striking and allowing closer observation. On Sunday there tended to be smaller groups never quite coming together to form a really major spectacle.

The planetary flies to 40 meters from the ground in the middle of stars and fireworks.
Yesterday afternoon/evening the sky had all colours of the rainbow at the same time. I have never seen such a spectacle before - It was truly magnificent !!!
The ice formations of Indian River Falls were truly a spectacle. It was amazing to see the different colors of the ice - depending on whether the water came from the river or had seeped through the rocks and picked up a mineral tint.
