This is a shot from just a bit later as we descended the hiking trail back to the dock. I had been planning on shooting the full moon rise on the other horizon. The clouds completely obscured the moonrise but offered some lovely skies for the sunset which soon followed.

I would have stayed longer but the mosquitos were relentless in their pursuit of my ankles, and I was without bug spray. There is now a travel sized bottle of it in my camera bag.

You can choose to watch it, or not.

For a more casual look I can make denim curtains, or you can try the (Partially) Blind approach.

Story behind the glasses... My NEW GLASSES!

Woke up and started getting ready... went to wash my face and put the glasses on the window ledge... went to grab them... and POOF! they fell out of the window... about 16-20 feet below onto concrete... ACK!

Darrell went out to get them (or what was left of them)... only to find them beneath the window of the next room... they had landed... bounced... and didn't get a scratch on them!
