Brooke and I took a walk over to the Louisville Metro Center to photograph the Gallopalooza horses on display. I couldn't resist taking a self-portrait in the mirror mosaic on the side of this horse. Very cubist, no?
Mr. Martini requested another batch of pretzels this weekend (he really liked the batch I made a couple of weeks ago). I was feeling a lot better today, and was happy to oblige. I made a couple of adjustments to the recipe, which helped a lot (there was just too much flour last time!). I still need to work on rolling them out into thin enough ropes, though.
Same shot, different bathroom.
Once again, prepping for a break from work by cleaning the entire house the week prior. Each night I tackle a room, and by the end of the week, the entire apartment is clean. Tonight it was the bathroom's turn.

AAARRRRGGGGGHHHH.
We delayed cooking our Christmas dinner until tonight, because our Christmas Eve dinner was so huge and filling (we still weren't hungry on Christmas Day!).
Tonight I cooked the entire dinner on my own, and it was FANTASTIC. I documented everything in its own set. But here I am, after cooking and eating, and so proud of myself. Anyone who knows me knows I don't cook, so this was a HUGE accomplishment. Yay!
