The Spa Footbridge opened on 19 July 1827, and crowds flocked to see a mail coach and horses gallop at full speed across it. The bridge became a fashionable promenade and provided panoramic sea and harbour views and a link from Scarborough centre to the South Cliff. This spectacular iron construction spans the valley between the Esplanade and St Nicholas Cliff and remains a popular route into Town for guests staying in the South Cliff area.

Time to catch the spa in the early morning while everyone is still asleep.

Since 1824, Świnoujście has been a seaside resort with a healing sea climate. After medicinal brine springs were discovered in the town's area in 1897, they were used for spa treatments, as were the existing medicinal mud deposits. The picture shows the graduation towers at one end of the promenade, near which the air is particularly salty and beneficial for respiratory problems.

Seit 1824 ist Świnoujście ein Seebad mit heilsamem Seeklima. Nachdem 1897 im Gebiet der Stadt Heilsolequellen entdeckt wurden, nutzte man diese ebenso für Kuren wie die vorhandenen Heilschlammablagerungen. Hier im Bild sind die Gradierungstürme an einem Ende der Promenade zu sehen, in deren Nähe die Luft besonders salzhaltig und bei Atemwegsprojekten heilsam ist.

This is one of Karijini's iconic locations located in the far northwest corner of the park. It's a fantastic location for a swim and this deep pool is a great spot for that. Overall, I tried to photograph the scene in a slightly different way again - this time with some afternoon light coming through the top of the scene (very accentuated).

August 1, 1989 - Safety Harbor, Florida, USA - Kodak Tri-X negative copied with a Nikon D810 using the Nikon ES-1 slide copier. I expanded the opening in an old plastic slide mount to allow room for the borders around the image. Mild tweaking in Photoshop.

Could’ve probably been taken any time after 1935 when the lovely Riley car was registered - but the movies are from 2024.

This is not just a display - we saw the car parked outside the local Co-Op store later, whilst the owner popped in for a bit of shopping!
