A floating spa in Longyearbyen harbor. It was very cold the day this image was taken, but the fellow at the spa seemed unfazed. Take note of the trangular warning signs on the front wall, including the one warning of walrus and the other regarding polar bears.

West Coast Railways 37668 & 37685 'Loch Arkaig' working in multiple are seen powering through Sherburn in Elmet with the return leg of "The Scarborough Spa Express" as 1Z27 1641 Scarborough to Carnforth on 15th July 2021 The 37's took over working 1Z27 from York Holgate Sidings after 45699 Galtea did the Scarborough to York leg of the journey.
The first Scarborough Spa Express of the season ran on 26th June 2025. The train, 1Z15 from Carnforth, crosses the River Ouse at York headed by class A1 no. 60163 'Tornado'.

Scarborough Spa is a Grade II listed building in South Bay, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England. It is a venue for conferences, exhibitions, entertainment, live music and events on the Yorkshire Coast. Originally built around the source of Scarborough's spa waters, it is owned and managed by Scarborough Borough Council.
The Spa has a Grand Hall, which seats 1,500 and hosts live entertainment including the Scarborough Spa Orchestra and the annual Scarborough Jazz Festival. The Spa Theatre, a 557-seat Victorian theatre, is home to summer season shows and Christmas pantomimes.
