A spa cake for a super cool spa party. If I had a daughter I would definitely be renting Party Pax's Spa Package www.partypax.net . Brooke's house was transformed into a spa when I delivered the cake. It was so adorable.

The Ronneby spa "Ronneby Brunn" had water believed to have healing qualities. The first source of ferruginous water was found in 1705. But the high period of the spa was in the 19th century.

The surrounding park "Brunnsparken" has been voted Sweden's most beautiful park and Europe's 4th most beautiful park.

The buildings in the park are listed buildings (Swedish: byggnadsminnen) and enjoy the strongest legal cultural and historical protection available.

Building 11: The Gymnastic Hall. The hall was built 1890-91 and remained in use for the entire spa era to 1939. The hall was originally divided in two by a mobile wall; one for men, the other for women. It was sometimes used for church services.

The original plans, signed by Svante Svensson, were approved but subject to some modifications. The building underwent more changes in 1904 and 1912. Accommodation and consulting rooms were added on as well as the pavilions on the sides and the tower section on the north side.

Today there is an exhibition hall in the building.

43182 arrives at Bath Spa station leading 1A10 0729 Exeter St Davids to Paddington on 25th March 2017.

43031 was the rear power car.

Bath Spa station is partially closed from 8th - 23rd April 2017 as the tracks are being moved closer together and platforms widened.

The fence between the two tracks has finally been removed, but they've dumped concrete cable trough channels and the obligatory white bags to spoil the shot!

The canopies are listed, so not sure what will happen when it rains!

Buxton has been a Spa town, well known for its rejuvinating waters sice the Roman Times. Water percolates through the lime stone and re-emerges full of minerals and at a steady temperature of 28C.

The images here have been positioned by adding a GPS locator to the camera that add the information to the EXIF data. I am using a METAGPS M1 (C90) bought through Ebay. I have had mixed sucess with the unit. it doesn't like clouds very much. not a great thing in wintery England. I shall see how well the GPS locator works soon on a trip to the Orkneys I have comming soon.

Here, Kinosaki, is one of most famous Spa Town. People who visit there wear YUKATA, informal cotton kimono for the summer season or for relaxing in the warm room, and go around the Spa everywhere in the town.

I don't remember they are couples or mother/father and child, but they were walking hand in hand and enjoyed going to Spa wearing YUKATA, too.
