42308 with stopping train at
Leamington Spa (Avenue) Station in July 1951
Former LMS 4P 2-6-4T No 42308, designed by Henry Fowler, at platform two at the head of a local Leamington to Coventry passenger train. Built at Derby in 1928, No 42308 was withdrawn in August 1959, the first of the class to be withdrawn and scrapped by TW Ward Ltd of Bolton-on-Dearne in January 1960.

Southwest Trains Class 159 Express Sprinter 159004 arrives at Bath Spa with the 15:07 (11 late) 1V33 London Waterloo to Bristol Temple Meads.
The permanent planting has been removed and in its place we have turfed lawn with annual planting full of colour.
With the precious help of my friend and neighbor @Lola Vanilla, I spent time creating this space on my land. In RL, I'm just a fan of spas. D'you know that the world spa comes from the town of Spa in Belgium ? I happen to live real close to that place and I go to the historical spa in Spa pretty often. In these times of Covid, I can't.
So when I saw I had so much prims to use on a quarter of homestead, I said "If I can't go to the spa, the spa will come to me". And there is what I've spent the weekend and the beginning of the week doing. I'm quite proud !

Het casino van Spa is een van de gebouwen die Spa zijn uitstraling van oude Grandeur geeft. Het oude casino kwam nog al dubieus tot stand na toestemming van de bisschop van Luik. Deze gaf toestemming tot het openen van een speelzaal waar ook feesten en banketten gegeven mochten worden indien hij dan maar ook een percentage van de winst toegeschoven kreeg. Dit casino zorgde naast het kuuroord natuurlijk voor de aantrekkingskracht van Spa. Nog steeds kan men in het huidige casino een gokje wagen.
This is the other end of the crescent that never was - begun with the white stuccoed buildings at either end by the aptly named builder William Startin in 1831, it fell victim to a building slump, followed by the collapse of the Leamington Bank in 1837. The gap in between wasn’t filled until the 1870s, by which time the Victorian style had taken over.
