ناصر اعتمادی سونا صمصامی نمایندۀ شورای ملی مقاومت ایران در واشنگتن دیروز به مناسبت گشایش رسمی دفتر نمایندگی سازمان مجاهدین خلق در واشنگتن گفت که چنانکه مذاکرات اخیر آلماتی نشان داد سیاست گفتگو و مذاکره با ایران به شکست انجامیده و وقت آن رسیده که همۀ تلاش ها به سمت تغییر دموکراتیک رژیم در این کشور هدایت شود.
سونا صمصامی که این سخنان را در حضور مقامات ارشد پیشین دولت آمریکا از جمله جان بولتون و ژنرال جیمس جونز ایراد می کرد از دولت آمریکا خواست که در کنار مردم ایران و به منظور تحقق آزادی در این کشور قرار بگیرد.
سازمان مجاهدین خلق ایران که طی پانزده سال از سوی آمریکا در فهرست گروه های تروریستی قرار گرفته بود اینک نمایندگی خود را در صد متری کاخ سفید واشنگتن گشوده است. ژنرال جیمز جونز در سخنانی که دیروز در نمایندگی سازمان مجاهدین خلق ایران در واشنگتن ایراد کرد، مدعی شد که گشایش دفتر نمایندگی شورای ملی مقاومت سازمان مجاهدین خلق برانگیزندۀ امید در نزد مردم ایران و سرآغاز آزادی و دموکراسی در این کشور است. جان بولتون نیز در اظهاراتی جداگانه پیش بینی کرد که دموکراسی و آزادی در ایران دیر یا زود مستقر خواهند شد
