The PASACAT dancers line up as the directors do blocking and sound tests on the stage at the Joan Kroc Theater in San Diego
Not bad for $30! I performed 4 tests to verify that it's real: (1) the scratch test (it will stratch class, and metal won't mar it); (2) the sound test (it sounds more like fine crystal than glass clinking), (3) the light test (it has irregularities and a proper opaqueness when held up to the light); and (4) it's cool to the touch, and after warming a little in your hand and then left for a few moments, it's once again cool. I particularly love this one because it's lavendar and green with a lovely splotch of sunflower yellow (you can sort of see it in the middle here). This sort of tri-color bangle is uncommon and particularly lucky.

Testing our installation piece - 'Junction' - in Granary Wharf. Four loudspeakers in a line playing back industrial soundscapes / found sounds from the area's past.
These were taken during the final performances of Nayland Blake's series at Location One in SOHO. It also happened to be Nayland's birthday, and much fun was had by all.
