This was from our first trip to Milford Sound when it was cloudy so we could only see a short way up the mountains surrounding the fiord. This waterfall was still impressive even though we went during a drought!

In Arizona, I am always drawn toward the Sound of Water. Today I was rewarded near Lynx Lake in Prescott.

good week everybody!

Under the category "I don't care if it's true I want to believe it"; there is a story that this device was Phil Lynott's amp until he could afford proper equipment. I'm sure it's true.

At the last exit off my favorite U.S. highway—US-64 East, between Rocky Mount and Manteo—just after crossing the Croatan Sound… Although my destination is usually just a few miles ahead (Manteo, Nags Head, etc.), I always stop here to enjoy the sunset.

I don’t know why I love driving this particular stretch of highway, but each time, I experience a strange fusion of anticipation, freedom, and joy—tinged with a quiet melancholy. Perhaps it’s the weight of past travels along this same path, the moments left behind, pressing so heavily that they become something resigned yet strangely poetic.

I saw the film today. It's an excellent, highly well crafted film that holds your attention all the way through. It is one of the very best movies that I've seen in a long time, and what a powerful message it sends about child abuse. I heard that some people are criticizing the film. Anyone who criticizes this movie either doesn't have a heart or supports pedophilia.

The Sound Of Seil ferry pulls into Hunters Quay near Dunoon on the Holy Loch. In the distance can be seen the small village of Strone..

Night-time shot of the atrium in the lobby of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Verizon Hall is on the left, and the smaller Perelman Theater on the right. In the centre is the glass and steel barrel-vault roof. Design by Rafael Vinoly Architects, PC.

Part of the Atlantic Building can be seen in the background.

Sound of Seil, the Western Ferries ferry not the place. Seen here offloading at the ferry terminal at McInroy's Point, Gourock and looking across the firth of Clyde to Dunoon on the left and Strone on the right with the Holy Loch in the middle. The snow covered hills of Cowal are in the background behind Dunoon.

Although it was a relatively clear day it was a cold winter's day. The sun was low and as usual not quite in the right place to make the most of the scene, but you've got to deal with that, | guess, or go home.
