Lo storico gruppo musicale statunitense Toto torna in Italia con un live a tutto rock; unica data italiana del tour promozionale del nuovo album è il 3 luglio a Milano, come ospiti dell'Estathé Market Sound.

Il gruppo musicale statunitense, membro della Hall of Fame, ha vissuto una leggendaria carriera che include 17 album, più di 35 milioni di copie vendute in tutto il mondo con molti dei loro brani in testa alle classifiche tra cui "Africa”, "Hold The Line", "Rosanna", "I Won't Hold You Back" e "I'll Be Over You", oltre al loro "Toto IV" che li ha fatti entrare nella storia rendendoli i primi artisti a vincere 6 Grammy Awards per un album.

Una carriera leggendaria, iniziata a Los Angeles negli anni settanta. Diciassette album e trentacinque milioni di copie vendute dopo, tra cambi di line up e reunion, i Toto non hanno ancora esaurito la voglia di fare del buon rock.

La band è composta da Steve Lukather (chitarre e voce), David Paich (tastiere e voce), Steve Porcaro (tastiere), Joseph Williams (voce), David Hungate (basso) bassista storico che ha partecipato ai primi quattro album - tra i quali “Toto IV”, e i nuovi membri Keith Carlock (batteria) e Lenny Castro (percussioni).

The WW2 concrete sound mirrors at Lydd-On-Sea. Unfortunately, they are on an island and you can't get close to them, which is annoying as i wanted to listen to them myself.t

These orcas are from a transient pod seen in Bellingham Bay in WA. This is the first sighting of orcas within Bellingham Bay since 1952. Usually the orcas are much further out in Puget Sound toward the Straits of Juan de Fuca.

I alway have so much fun chasing the Blue Angles. This photo was the first time I was able to photograph the compression ring. Maybe it's the noise I like so much.

I took this picture on top of the Celebrity Century Cruise while floating through the Milford Sounds in New Zealand. Beautiful morning.

I installed some of those fake plastic shutters on a friend's house today. I was drilling holes in bricks, banging anchor bolts and cussing like the sailor I am, yet this little guy never moved. I wish I could get a few nights sleep as sound.

Took a nice walk on the Duck Town boardwalk along the Sound. Beautiful!

I bumped into this light and sound show happening somewhere behind Nordstan

You can look at this in several ways:

1.The sound of hot brass hitting the floor stirs something in everyone.

2.America is known for cowboy films and technology.

3.the simple, loud, quick sound of a round going off versus the hours or pleasant music.

4.pure white/tarnished brass

5.things man can do

I'm sure it could mean something else to you.

The Sounds are quite notorious for their song "Hurt You" as seen on the Geico Motorcycle commercial starring the Cavemen [view it here]. From Skåne län, Sweden, this energetic female-led quartet has new-wave roots with indie pop overtones. As vocalist Maya Ivarsson proclaimed during their stay @ The Marquee in Tulsa, OK on 5/14/09, they play a lot of big shows but enjoy their own shows much more. So catch their headlining act before it's gone, as they are soon to open for No Doubt in a string of U.S. performances.

May 16th was a great day! Not only did I get to celebrate all 3 of my son’s Birthday’s (All 3 boys born in May) We got the special treat of having Detroit’s best Metal band play for us! Sounds-Like are simply fantastic!! I love them all! Great music, even greater guys! The kids had such a fantastic time. Okay me too!
