After a extremely snowy ride down the hill on an antique runner sled, my brother-in-law (grandpa) is trying to get his grandson to take a deep breath and stop crying, brushing away all the snow off of his face. (Photo stylized with Topaz Lab's "Clean 3" and Detail 2").
In our darkest moments everyone looks for the comfort that they felt as a child that only innocent beliefs and a mothers can give but this is gone, leaving us further isolated like a baby exposed on a mountain top with the promise of hope. Instead of just sitting down and having lunch with a photographer friend, we came to the idea of going out shooting together at lunch time once in awhile. Was a good idea and even came away with a couple keepers. MId-day heavy fog starting to break up after two days of it. I liked the simple tones and mood of this result.

My summer holiday started today, and first thing I did when running away from work was to go to Japanese restaurant. I had some sashimi and genmai tea. Lovely.
