Some days there isn't enough hot choccie or coffee to put some pep in your step...

Some days not enough to make what ails you go away!

Some days, nothing else matters but that hot coffee and hot Chocolate... especially when the air is crisp and chilly with a dampness to it that cuts right through..

This scene was captured @the beautiful sim:

Dried peppers waiting for buyers in Szentendre, Hungary.

Some kind of large gulls spent some time here on their way south for the winter.

I remember taking this some time ago.. can't think where ;-)

A goldfinch feeding on seeds. In need of some colour here as summer seems to have gone. Very cool and wet. Shiverrrr...!!

Some lovely spring flowers brightening everything.

These Crocuses are such a striking colour!

Some pretty intense atmospherics on Lindisfarne last week. Apparently this is caused by the reflection and refraction of light by tiny ice crystals in the atmosphere.

Such big skies up there.

Press L - gives it some more impact.

The mark of the mystery upon us is a cross. It is fitted on us as wings by which we may join the Dove in full flight. And when the cross is properly adjusted upon our shoulders, then suddenly, surprisingly, kenosis becomes prokope, self-emptying is the way to our deepest fulfillment, death becomes life, Incarnation is Ascension, Ascension is Pentecost, and human beings fall upward under the force of the Holy Spirit’s rising wing.

PS Several people have informed me that this bird is actually trying to cool itself - which makes sense given the current weather.

Finally getting some color here in New Jersey and what better place to see some than Waterloo Village.

"The Peter D. Smith house was erected in 1871, the same year Peter, 26, was married. The house overlooks the village and has a sweeping view of the Musconetcong River and Morris Canal."

"...considered to be the most architecturally significant building in the village. Located on top of a rise of land on the north side of the old Waterloo Road, the Peter D. Smith house is a three-story wood-framed dwelling designed in the Second Empire style of architecture."

This is a bit of a test shot as it is a heavy crop from the original file and I wanted to see how good an image from the Pentax I could still achieve once cropped in quite tight.

Some big skies looking beyond Seahouses Harbour yesterday morning

Some ideas are better in my head than in the actual execution. I guess that is why I keep working at it every day. How is it that some days I feel like I've never picked up a camera before or edited an image? Hoping your rainbows are easing to conquer than mine were today.
