Radio found at Belleville, IL's finest antique mall. They also had hundreds upon hundreds of 8x10 black & white prints of buildings in Chicago, apparently taken over fifty years ago. Interiors, exteriors, fire escapes, back alleys...they looked like tax-assessment photos, in my totally untrained opinion. If anyone's interested in browsing or buying, I think Kirkbride Palace knows the name of the store.

Like many local modern quilt guilds, our guild is participating in the Robert Kaufmann solids-only charm pack challenge. Here's where mine is headed.

Solid white clay on one side that I can draw and paint, translucent clay on the other side (of the flower) that I can also paint on and get different effect. I really like this design and there will be more to come.
