My version of this quilt (www.flickr.com/photos/38015936@N03/4840474370/) that I loved. It was great because I had all these solids from a previous project, so I bought nothing to put together the top. That's a winner in my book. It was fun to put draw, plan and put together. Now I need to figure out how I want to finish it up.

Podoba Ci się to, co robię? Może postawisz mi kawę? ;)
Situated on Sandbanks in Poole in a residential, two-story apartment, this solid oak staircase with cut strings and half landing is an example of one of our smaller projects.
Distinctive 40mm solid oak cut strings on both sides of the staircase support the oak treads and stainless steel rod risers, whilst toughened and laminated glass panelling with a stainless steel handrail create the balustrade.
Kevala Stairs also installed a glass gallery on the top landing, with glass panels attached to the strings and landing with stainless steel fixings.

7DOS, Week #4 Periodic Table - Hydrogen & Oxygen, Macro Monday (well, you did say to not over-think it, Jim, lol) - I'm probably not going to contribute much this month as we're off on a long road trip and then just chillaxing whilst on holiday (vacation) in Italy, but I any pictures I take for pleasure happen to meet a challenge I shall post them either on Flickr/my Facebook page www.facebook.com/LyndaHPhotography and/or my website lyndahiggsphotography.weebly.com
Off to pack - cannot wait to hit the road!

This minimalist, folded tread staircase has been treated to an unusual “Driftwood Sioo” white oil finish. The solid oak stair has been attached to the reclaimed brick stairwell with hidden steel pins.
The very open style wrought iron balustrade was cut and welded from yard stock; the joints carefully cleaned up and only the loose mill scale removed.
The metal balustrade has been chemically sealed and simply bolted to the structure to give an industrial salvaged feel.
As for the aesthetics, the sheer simplicity of the ribbon-like structure, in conjunction with the raw, reclaimed brick wall, make this staircase appear light, airy and practically weightless.
W201 190E2.3.
First Merc I ever owned.
Hewn out of rock.
Solid and always reliable.
Transported me all over Western and Eastern Europe.
From the Artic Circle to the Med.
Never failed.
It even resisted theft in Geneva and Hamburg -
and several chases in the good ol' USSR.
When purchased new for export, it was the only 190E with a 2.3 litre engine registered in UK.
It was in its element cruising autobahns above 210 kph.
Photo taken with a Rollei B35 early one June morning 1988.
Leningrad Hermitage Winter Palace before city reverted to St Petersburg.
Scanned from original 13x18 cm print at 200 dpi January 2004 with HP ScanJet IIcx.
Image then 'cooled' and sharpened on a Mac, August 2011.
Wonder if WDB2010281F327913 is still out there?
This was just there, on the grass, during the golden hour of a nice summer day.
I'm almost tempted to just ignore the fact that someone again dumped old electronics outside just because of the poetic picture it provided.

Watching the rain falling on the roof tops...
A typical summers day in Ireland... :-\
Thanks so much for visiting and all your kind comments... :-)

More detail. Each block is unique. I think that's why I love doing this style of quilting. It is so much fun to 'let go' and see where it takes you!
I finished this small pillow cover recently. I've been enjoying the scrappy solids, and a small way to practice some free motion quilting.
Dear Partner,
please see this Idea # 3 (previous two I haven't show yet - they're my strong back up:).
This is the most "risky" idea, because I'm not sure if you like this direction.
Layout will be probably changed a bit (there's too much purple in the middle).
Maybe should I change also colors?
Or resign from Apple Core?
Pillow or doll quilt?
Please tell me what you think honestly:) if you don't like it, it will be another one pillow for our living room:D
PS. I think I'm fixed now in this color way:)))
