On October 3rd, over 30 people joined a clean energy tour in Detroit Lakes hosted by Detroit Lakes Public Utilities, Missouri River Energy Services (MRES), and Central Clean Energy Resource Team (Central CERT).
Another shot of organizing and laying out the solar pv system on the roof. Again, illustrates how light and flexible the system is and easy to install. The panels were a little big, so an extra set of hands was super helpful. - Please feel free to use this image, released under Creative Commons give credit to "Ken Fields" - www.kenfields.net

Located on the edge of the Sahara desert, in an area famous for a picturesque landscape, the Noor-Ouarzazate power complex is putting Morocco on the map as a solar superpower. It is the country's first utility-scale solar energy complex and a critical step in the Moroccan Solar Energy Program, which aims to install 2 GW of solar power by 2020. The project underlines the country’s determination to reduce dependence on fossil fuels, turn to increased use of renewable energy, and move towards a low carbon development strategy.

This Prius Solar Tunnel display was set up outside Digital Gateway in Siam Square to demonstrate Prius' new itech solar technology. Cars with this option have solar embedded in the roof which drives a ventilation system to pull hot air from the interior of the car and keep it cooler on hot, sunny days.

Nearly 80 people gathered at the Saint Paul Science Museum October 24, 2013 to discuss the future of Community Solar in Minnesota, the event was hosted by Fresh Energy.
Just for context purposes, our house uses something like 200-500W during most of the day, with our oven using around 2kW (2000W) when it's preheating.
This is just the front panels, the personal display will finally track the ones on the back when the rest of the data logging kit arrives in about a week.
And yes, the colour scheme of the whole thing is... interesting.
