View through the window of a public canteen, which has been closed since mid-March due to coronavirus pandemic.
I like the shadows cast by the plants in the room on the chair lit by the late evening sun. Guests will sit there again and enjoy the food some day ... but for now it's empty.

Schatten einer unbeschwerten Vergangenheit
Blick durch das Fenster einer öffentlichen Mensa, die seit Mitte März wegen der Corona-Pandemie geschlossen ist.
Mir gefiel der Schattenwurf der Pflanzen im Raum auf den von der späten Abendsonne angestrahlten Stuhl. Dort werden auch irgendwann (vielleicht in ein paar Wochen) wieder Gäste sitzen und das Essen genießen.

Marcel came to us as a very shy and "hyper alert" cat. He spent the first days here in one room which gave him a chance to begin acclimating. He is now roaming the house with ease and has been proven to be very friendly and affectionate, but can go undercover if needed :-)
My friend's dog scared up this little chipmunk while we were on a walk in a nearby state park. The chipmunk ran up this stump and then proceeded to keep an eye on us from a safe distance. Stay safe, friends; observe social distancing recommendations, and enjoy a happy weekend.

Havinng a splashing time celebrating my umpteenth bath day in the company of my eldest granddaughter, back in 2004. Of course there were no masks in those "happy days".
Tip of the day :
In order to achieve this astonishing effect, you’ll need an olympic-size bathtub with loads of suds (or snow if you're into¹ snow bathing) and you’ll also need a beautiful granddaughter! Now if you happen to be a beautiful granddaughter, then you may be looking for a granddad but, not to worry, they’re two a penny² these days.
The picture was taken by her father who was 'filling the gap', so to speak! I just titivated it a bit and called it mine; so it's not exactly a selfie but every bit as good as. It is therefore signed Kittymax & Son, he took the photo and I salvaged it but don't tell him I said that for heaven's sake!
