The test has long been controversial among scientists. It seems unlikely to be able to distinguish between corona sars and influenza. A French company has now developed a PCR test that can distinguish between influenza and corona sars.

As I neared home after my walk I looked up and saw this face peeking from a second story balcony. It didn't bark or wag its tail; just gave me a forlorn look.
A magical line that separates the sheep from the goats. The colours are purely coincidental. This is not a flag, but it is highly metaphorical. NON (also the French word for "No") appears the same here even upside down. Just say no!
I never picked up my camera yesterday, so here's a shot from the last time I bought milk at the farm. This morning, you get a sleepy goat!
After a storm passes there's a rainbow🌈 as a symbol of Better Days 🌄 to come.
Keep calm and stay safe.

The large demonstration for democracy and freedom announced for 12.12.2020 was banned and massive police forces were in the city.
This photo was taken in January month this year and it is now very apt with reference to the world wide pandemic.
Uh-oh! One of the cats has taken on the “too much social-distancing” stare.
Hang in there everyone.
These are shots from my morning walk in Georgetown (Washington, DC) today. As you can see, they show the impact of the American Coronavirus Recession on our local stores.
For this week's Flickr Friday theme "homemade", I've chronicled the creation of a card we made and will be sending out to several friends and family members.
The concept for the card actually came from Pintrest (as stick people), and we had the idea to make it into a photo with really long arms to be a birthday card for our friends twin boys (with the caption "we love you THIS much"), but after wrapping up a virtual hang with a bunch of friends via Zoom on Saturday night, we had the idea of also creating cards to send our love out to those we can't actually be with during the Coronavirus lockdowns.
(the virtual hangs are ok - certainly better than nothing - but just aren't the same as being in the same space with other people)
Happy sheltering, and stay safe out there!
Poor Diego, he tries so hard to help, but cannot put a paw on the floor, while keeping the fabric straight. But his emotional support is the best.

On the last day of March in southwestern Michigan, the buds of trees such as Eastern Cottonwood and Red Maple are beginning to swell, while Crocuses and Daffodils have started blooming. With shelter-in-place in effect, we've been spending inordinate amounts of time on our computers while keeping an eye on the songbirds coming to our feeders or the waterbirds attending to their daily activities on the lake.
I was cycling around a local park and saw these two ladies, sisters in fact, on a bench and approached.
Luckily they let me take a picture.
I hope they are smiling at me.

Bad business two weeks before Christmas. More policemen than customers. The customers mixed with participants of the forbidden demonstration. The police were there for nothing.
