had hoped for some much needed rain from Isais but we were on the "wrong" side (more wind, less rain). Luckily we suffered no major damage - just a large number of small branches down..
I really can't believe what I see on TV....seems so surreal. This is what keeps me going through these tumultuous and stressful times. Thoughts of camping in May when the young leaflets' chloroplasts (the part of the plant that contains the green pigment chlorophyll) are still developing, so the leaves tend to be lighter. What do you look forward to?

- SQUIRREL WAITING ON RAILING
IN KEEPING WITH THE RULES RE: "CONTROLLING THE PENDEMIC" - THE SQUIRREL IS APPROX 6 FEET AWAY FROM THE FLICKER..................... BUT, IN REALITY - I DOUBT HE/SHE CARES - AS, THERE SIMPLY IS - NO WAY THIS SQUIREL IS GOING ANY CLOSER TO CHALLENGE THE WOODPECKER AT THE FEEDER.
WHEN I FIRST SAW THIS SCENE I LAUGHED - THINKING - THAT'S "KEEPING SOCIAL DISTANCE" - SO, RESPECTIVELY - I'M SHARING A LITTLE HUMOR ON A SERIOUS MATTER.
Best enlarged to see the squirrel's impatient expression.
SNOW AND COLD AGAIN SO, MANY WERE LINING UP FOR FOOD. POOR LITTLE CREATURES. THEY ARE FUNNY TO WATCH WHEN AT THE FEEDER.
