Newbury Street in Boston is usually very busy on a Friday, but most stores are closed due to the cornavirus.
I didn't want to take the umpteenth photo of the sunset from the pier in Zingst but rather had the pictures of the U Bein bridge in Myanmar in mind. From a distance it worked quite well to get that impression. Of course this is not a panorama of the pier in the sunset but a detail which I found kind of funny ;) Contributors comply with the current distance rules

WORLD SMILE DAY
Each year on the first Friday in October, World Smile Day devotes a day to smiles and spreading random acts of kindness.
If someone smiles at you, you’re bound to smile back. A smile often expresses a feeling, encouragement to someone, or serves as a greeting. I send SMILES to you all today.
Day 8 — Stay Home, Stay Healthy!

Day 17 — Stay Home, Stay Healthy!
Next up in the series that I wouldn’t have seen if I hadn’t stayed home to reduce the spread of covid-19. Found this ringneck snake while out for a bike ride. No one else on the road except for the two of us. I watched him go all the way to the other side before I took off again.
makes me smile
Marcel is hyper aware and suffers from "kitty nerves". When first arrived, he made a beeline for the nearest hiding place (under a chair). We set up a comfort zone for him in a closet where he spent much of his time during the early days. Bit by bit he has opened up and realized that he is a well loved member of the family. This photo shows his progress in becomming a proper lap cat :-)
