West Yellowstone paints its bear-proof trash cans with all sorts of images. This one is particularly striking.
Snowmobiling makes up an important part of the town's winter economy. Snowmobiling in Yellowstone National Park has been controversial, to say the least, but most of the activity is locals on the national forest land that surrounds the town on three sides.

The hobby of riding snowmobiles is big business in northwestern Wisconsin and a number of good trails around Spooner and Hayward beckon enthusiasts in large numbers.
I make a left off of the Overlook Trail/Long Path to follow the snowmobile trail up towards the Kaaterskill High Point.
Just a couple of shots of how these snowmobiles are put together. I'm pretty happy with the design, and it being relatively easy to explain, I thought I'd share it with you guys.
A little, simple snowmbile I made in preparation for the photo contest Rebrick is currently doing.
Definitely took some creative liberties with the design. A good number of the pieces came from the 4-wheeler in the Agents Mobile Command Center.
Also the treads do not move well at all. They can, but require a fair amount of force. Mainly form over function for this one.
Interesting note: When I've thought about snowmobiles, the first image that comes to mind is a dual-track snowmobile. Though found out while looking for reference images, dual-track snowmobiles are quire rare nowadays.
