Mum kindly treated us to a snack lunch at Keydell Garden Centre, but we possibly went a bit overboard with pastries - sausage roll for starters then a mince pie each!!
Snack Time - A chipmunk enjoys some peanuts in our backyard. I made a little table from scraps of cedar. It makes a nice photography prop.
Roasted peanuts in the shell ...in our house we share this Tasty Snack with squirrels, chipmunks, and blue jays.
my wife recently came back from a holiday in Taiwan and brought some Taiwanese snacks. it bears a lot of similarities to some philippine snacks but the texture and taste are more subtle. wonderful experience to try food and snacks from other countries . the packaging is very impressive and makes for a good still life capture
One of the most interesting things for me about Nepal, is seeing what products from the western world have taken hold in the general community. Choco pies are very popular and seem to be found even high up in the mountains. At bus stops and in tourist areas, Pringles beat out locally made chips in availability, despite the fact that I find Nepali potato snacks to be superior. The kiwifruit or Chinese gooseberry (often shortened to kiwi) is the edible berry of a woody vine in the genus Actinide. The most common cultivar group of kiwifruit ('Hayward') is oval, about the size of a large hen's egg (5–8 cm (2.0–3.1 in) in length and 4.5–5.5 cm (1.8–2.2 in) in diameter). It has a fibrous, dull greenish-brown skin and bright green or golden flesh with rows of tiny, black, edible seeds. The fruit has a soft texture and a sweet but unique flavor. It is a commercial crop in several countries, such as Italy, New Zealand, Chile, Greece, and France.

Photographed this Squirrel as it was enjoying a snack on the grounds of Navarre Park located in Navarrre, Florida. The Squirrel seemed more then happy to pose for the camera.
As schools of small fish swam on the surface, eagles acted like gulls plucking fish from the water and immediately eating them. The hovering over the water looked like a lot of work.
Well, I managed to get out for my first round of golf since lockdown and that was wonderful but now back home and time for a little snack with my coffee!
