Another forest walk and caught the sun just behind some lined trees on a small path. Attempted to process combining darkness in some lower shadows but smooth moody sunlight light behind the trees

This was the best I'd seen so far since our return, then soon after dense fog rolled in, allowing me to go back to sleep! 😁

We enjoy mild weather in these days, a little bit of morning fog and some sunshine later. The weather forecast is certain that things will even show up better with temperatures in the high 20´s. Yesterday evening it was fun and convenient to take a little walk in the fields of Obernbeck, Löhne, Ostwestfalen, Germany

The silk strands in this photo were spun by a 20 foot monster wave that crashed on the beach seconds before this shot was taken. The wave sent two girls, the only ones besides me on the beach, running in different directions to escape the wave to no avail. They got soaked and we all had a good laugh. Best of all, my camera stayed dry. :)

Downstream from RMNP, near Lyons, CO. The formations remind me of Franconia Notch State Park, in NH.
The exterior white is not a frame I added, its the ceiling between the floors. The walls are so smooth in the photo it just becomes flat.
The 1912 building is named Versmannhaus after a former mayor
