Bird Point is the narrowest point on the Turnagain Arm, located Southeast of Anchorage. This rock outcrop at the tip of the point has been smoothed by glaciers from millennia ago.
Which coincidently is what is pumping out of these dinky but smooth Wharfedale Diamonds.
Also, coincidently Diamond Life is one of Sade’s best albums

Llevaba unos cuantos dias buscando por casa motivos para el tema del proyecto 12M12T de este mes, y por casualidad apareció esta pluma en el quicio de una ventana. Un rayo de sol hizo el resto.

Example of how you can create smooth skin in Photoshop.
The original tutorial is gone, but here is one that uses a similar technique:
www.lunacore.com/photoshop/tutorials/tut020.htm
Only: I find it easier to apply the mask to the blurred layer in stead of the sharp layer so that you can paint in the smooth skin in stead of painting in the sharp details...
I added some eyeliner, blush, lipstick and a 'tache de beauté" as well.
PS: The before girl is of course much sexier than the after one, but it's a good showcase of the possibilities of Photoshop...

I've had this mug for around 20 or more years. I love the smooth lines, the general shape, and how it feels in my hands.

I'm not a geologist, but this interesting rock caught my eye. It seems to me (non-geologist) that these could be fossils.
Can anyone in Flickr-Land help me ID these?
Notes: I do not have a true macro lens and so the captured image seems not quite the same as my old eyes see these. E.g., my eyes see the "fossils" as more oval in shape and the black lines radiating out are indented and smooth-sided oblong shapes.
