Music hummed softly, as a band played electronic instruments in the corner of the nightclub. You could hear the chatter of at least ten different languages as soon as you entered the room. The whole place was crowded with different faces from all around Sector 2814, and faces as far away as The Vega Star System.
A door glided swiftly open as two Green Lanterns walked in. Guy Gardener finished his sentence as the doors closed behind him,
"Look Jordan, all I'm saying is we're picking at straws to find your escaped convict. You should have really kept a better eye on that Branx!"
"Cram it, Guy, we're on the clock" Hal Jordan responded without looking to his partner. Guy scowled at him behind his back before immediately changing his attitude as the Lanterns walked past a group of attractive pink Rhoonian women. Gardener naturally winked and snapped his fingers at the group before being pulled away by Hal.
"Hey!" He protested, "I was working my magic over there!"
"...Of course you were" Jordan responded sarcastically, with no sign of sympathy in his voice, "Here, let's talk to the Bartender, see what he knows"
“Excuse me sir, yes hello, have you seen this Branx?" Hal's ring emitted an image of a dark haired wolf-like alien on the face of an Oan wanted poster. The Bar Tender was nervous at the sight of the image. He looked around the bar nervously before finally speaking in a hushed foreign tone.
"Look Friend, we don't want any trouble" his voice was raspy and nasally. Hal's Ring translated everything.
"Neither do I pal, believe me, I just need some Intel on our wolfman here"
"I don't think you want that information when you're already so close to him..."
"Do you mean he's here? Could I get a location from you?"
Guy Gardener was pretty absentminded during this interaction, gazing around the bar at different screens displaying different sports playing live across the sector. All the creatures in the bar kept his head swiveling, but there was one particular alien presence that grabbed his utmost attention.
"Eyes on the prize, Gardener" Hal mumbled, seeing Guy's focus dwindle.
"Oh I've got my eyes on it alright" Gardener responded coyly, gazing up and down his neighbor at the bar.
"I'm telling you, I don't want any trouble!" The bartender said more frantically this time, "He's a killer this one! A real pain in the--" "Barkeeper!"
He was interrupted by a gruff deep voice, the Bartender was scared stiff.
"I said, Barkeeper!" the voice shouted again "Didn't you hear me Barkeeper?! Where's that round you promised for my crew?!" Hal's teeth clenched, his eyes looked subtly to his left.
Meanwhile, Guy had ordered himself a drink and proceeded to pour it into a martini glass construct emitting from his ring. With a smirk he turned to the flaxen women and flirted, "You know, a Green Lantern's biggest weakness is the color yellow" She turned to him distraught, "And I can tell you right now, I'm feeling weak in the knees" he winked and handed her the Martini. She immediately scoffed. The friend to her right seemed pretty entitled and pulled a blaster on him!
The Bartender nodded his head subtly towards the angry Wolfman while his eyes were locked on to Hal's. Hal nodded back to him, and with a sigh Hal stood up straight, smashed a bottle against the bar and pointed it towards the criminal. "By the order of the High Council of Oa, I place you under arrest! Any thing you say can and will be used in the--" The wolfman proceeded to shoot at him!
"Well I guess we'll just skip that part then!"
Within a matter of minutes, the entire bar was in a brawl, blasts of Green and red strewn across the room as Guy Gardener and Hal Jordan fought back to back for their lives!

To start off, I feel like this story should be accompanied by The Rembrandts www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-9kPks0IfE :)
Now I've got to say, this was a very interesting protect. The Build and story ideas started late last year, but quickly became a huge pain in the butt to produce. For the longest time I couldn't quite get the figure design right, in order to complement the color scheme of the photoshoot. Then further more, getting images to work in a comic-panel-like sequence, so I re-shot everything on the Nikon to see if that changed my opinion at all, and it did a little bit, but I don't know....
There is an entirely different setup and composition of this shoot on my Patreon that features some of the side characters more prominently before the final panel, being a wide splash page of the same build; they were also taken in weird angles I don't normally try, but are still really cool! Those photos were taken out of order so a few continuity mistakes were made with figure placement. Plus I also uploaded one of the original shots from the Minolta featuring the older figs! So I guess if you guys want to see those check em out over there, but I don't know if those will make it to flickr anytime soon. :P

Hi Guys, after posting a new photo every day for the past 3 days, I have decided to give this whole '365' thing a go! I'll try and post a new photograph every day, but most importantly I hope to end up with 365 images by 1st January 2014. So please forgive me if I don't upload a new photo precisely on each day of the year.
A shot of Cascade Falls in Zion National Park. On the way back from the hike up in this area I knew I had to take another few shots of this place a with tripod and neutral density filter.
Always hard to shoot with that nd400 filter on since you have to frame the shot and set your exposure and then put the filter on. The thing is completely black and you can barely see through your viewfinder with it on! Great for waterfalls when it's really bright out though.
Very nice viewed large on black.
Quick little shot I took during a hike around Dovestones. You've just got to love finding secret waterfalls.
Urban composition this week with the Opera de Lyon in the clouds. Just two exhibitions here, one for buildings and to bring out the clouds of heaven.
