Saw this smiley dragonfly hanging out on a rope in my backyard yesterday. I thought it must be having a good time.

Having just returned from a holiday in Malta this picture sums up everything that makes it the great place it is.

Granted, the number of classic British lorries is dwindling and new euro influenced laws aren't helping, but the helpfulness, enthusiasm and friendly manner of the Maltese people still make it a great country to visit.

Seen on its way home near Rabat after making another delivery - and one of the highlights of the trip- this wonderful 511 'fixed-head' powered Bison mixer is owned by Ta Matti of Siggiewi and two of their friendly staff are seen showing the usual Maltese response that I received! :-)

N742PS, an Airbus A319-112, on approach to runway 06R at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario.

It was arriving as AAL1993 (American Airlines, Inc.) from Dallas, Texas.

Serial number 1275 was wearing the 1980s livery of Pacific Southwest Airlines, Inc. of San Diego, California. That carrier called members of its fleet "PSA Grinningbirds".

Thanks to my fellow Flickrer and friend Sedanman for this fine selection of Matchbox toy cars sent airmail from the USA, accompanied by the now legendary Smiley Guy. Smiley has been the focus of many of Sedanman's photos on Flickr, which can be found here...

...and I've no doubt he'll probably pop up in a few more of mine too. For now, though, a big thank you to Sedanman and, as this picture illustrates, everything arrived safely and is settling in with one of the bigger members of my car fleet. Although, on the subject of size, that is one hell of a huge Mini van. It'll never fit in a matchbox...

"Smiley" is some digital art created in Photoshop, no AI used.

I created this smiley long time ago, but never had a use for it.

Trusting that it isn't too old to be submitted for the theme.

Smile on Saturday!:-) (Selfmade Smiley)

Genießen wir den Tag.

Enjoy the day.

Black tip (our 4 months old male red squirrel) has a slightly different head shape than his siblings. He has a longer nose :) From this perspective, he appears to be all smiles (Squirrels-2019-2647.jpg)
