Mary has quite a few feral cats that take advantage of her beautiful conservatory snoozing in the warm amongst the tropical plants..they are unfriendly cats that really take advantage of Mary's better nature...strictly not allowed in the house.
that's my aunt Nancy on the left, my 2nd cousin Bill's wife in the middle and my 2nd cousin Jamie's baby on the right, Sam.
Overexposed but still sweet, I think.
These photos were taken at a get-together we had after my Great Uncle Art's funeral.
bit out of focus and then some but i love the grinning copper as they move in to police a demo against the arms trade at DSEi, East London.

This lovely smiley lady was discovered in a market in Madurai, Southern India. The first picture we took she didnt like as it wasnt posed enough and she wasn't smiling - she was happy with this one though!
On Sunday I took my bestest mate for a woodland wonderland walk at Loxley Woods on the Polden Ridge. The Anenomes and Primroses were on their way out but the Bluebells and Orchids were shining through..we had a wonderful day wandering around the trail with warblers singing above us and flowers everywhere. The Bluebells smelt amazing and we got drunk in the atmosphere...we had to have a little lie own!
(No plants were injured in this photoshoot!)

When he felt like it. Was so happy to use my new red chair also, I had been working on it all week!!!
Used my 85mm 1.8 today instead of my 50mm 1.4, and found that the 85 really isn't as sharp as the 50, but I still love the bokeh it gives!
regardless of how small you are and/or whether or your life seems to be out of control with no direction or seemingly aimless wanderings "God loves you" is Smiley's message.
