Excuse for not being truly useful : the day was hotter than Leonardo De Caprio in Titanic. But no matter the weather, this'll be the last dog day of summer for me. I'm wham bam busy 'til vacation ends.

After vacation... school, so there really isn't going to be a day like this for awhile.

On this day at the waterfall walk the light was as I'd never seen it before...showing these colours in a way I hadn't seen either. I was torn between stopping here and getting shots of these colours, or hurrying up to the waterfalls! I didn't want to waste the light! As it happened the light was still wonderful at the top fall (I posted that picture a month ago here ), and when we came back down this way all the light and colours had gone... so for once luck was on my side.
