This is my little Go-kart! My Smart Fortwo Brabus cabrio. This was taken in a field just behind my house last summer.
Smart Doll Summer has arrived! It seems odd to handle such a large doll and not have her kicking and flinging her arms around like a bjd. The telescoping stand is handy, too.
After a fantastic dinner in Bournemouth, enjoying appearing smartly in a 'newsreader-inspired' jacket, and looking forward to a great time with friends.
The Smart brand is the Daimler-Benz corporations attempt to reach urban trendoids with a car of miniature proportions.
The car (in the version shown here) only seats two, and mounts the compact engine under the rear luggage area.
One notional value of the car is to park in very small spaces - two Smarts will fit into approximately the same length of the company's larger S-Class luxury car.
The MkiII model shown here was only launched in 2015, following the 1998 introduction of the MkI and the 2007 introduction of the MkII. Other versions of the Smart have also been available - the ForFour - a 4-seat version platform shard with the Mitsubishi Colt, and the Smart Coupe/Roadster, a low-slung 2-seater using a modified FourTwo chassis. None of the additional version have enjoyed much success.
In many ways the Smart is a car whose time has not yet arrived - the car does not drive particularly well, and the trendy urban dwellers could well just use Uber and other car-sharing services.
A smart looking recovery vehicle in the Western SMT fleet was GW7060, a cut-down Leyland Leopard PSU3/3R which originally carried an Alexander Y-Type C49F body with fleet number 2189 and was registered KCS 159F.
It was photographed within the Greenock depot some time in 1983.
At 6'1" I'm not super tall, but tall enough that I thought I would
never fit in a Smart Car -- surprisingly I fit and this thing would
certainly be a fun (but VERY LITTLE) city car. The only thing it's missing is an
airbag that completely surrounds the car right before getting into an
accident with a H2.
They’re here! Due to popular demand I’m selling limited quantities of my original design hand-made resin eyes. These eyes work with most DD heads and Smart Doll Mirai.

OMG! She's here! She's finally here!!
Kizuna Yumeno is the 002 Smart Doll. She is just beautiful! I know these aren't review style photos. I promise I will get to those eventually, but I just wanted to see how photographic she really was.
What do you think?! Isn't she beautiful!
They've finally arrived to the states. Somehow I just don't think they're so smart. Not to mention they cost over 22grand. 1/3rd the size of my Camry and still costs more. *shrug*
...in size, that is! The car and the two trash receptacles occupy a similar amount of curb space, which makes the Smart Fortwo convenient to park.
The headlight shape is for the Smart Fortwo model years 2002-2006. Other than that, I don't know much about these other than info available on the Internet.

Smart Doll Harmony is having some difficulty adjusting to the combination of higher altitude, lower humidity, and chillier temperatures.
I'm sure she'll adapt in time.
Or maybe she'll move to Florida.
UPDATE: Janie ultimately did move part time to Florida, 2021 - 2023. As of the spring of 2024 she's back in the desert full time.
