The S&P #BSE #Sensex is trading at 31230 down 20 points, while #NSE #Nifty is trading at 9618 up 5 point. A total of 37 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 11 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE. There are 1037 advances, 472 declines and 434 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting a positive tone in the market. The BSE #MidCap Index is trading up 0.58% at 14844, while BSE #SmallCap Index is trading up 0.60% at 15660. Some buying activity is seen in Power, IT, while, Realty, Bankex, Auto and Energy showing weakness on BSE. M&M, Sun Pharma, Reliance, Tata Power, Ambuja Cement are among the gainers, whereas Bharti Airtel, Aurobindo Pharma, GAIL and Infosys are losing on the NSE.
#ClosingBell: Equity Benchmark indices remained directionless for the third consecutive session on Wednesday, especially after last week's rally. The 30-share #BSE #Sensex was down 10.11 points at 26633.13 and the 50-share #NSE #Nifty fell 1.75 points to 8190.50 while the #Smallcap outperformed benchmarks on positive breadth. The BSE Smallcap index gained 0.5 percent as about 1624 shares advanced against 1163 declining shares on the exchange. Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Auto, BHEL, Wipro, Tata Motors are #TopGainers and Reliance, ICICI Bank, Cipla, HUL, SBI are #TopLosers on BSE.

Closing Bell : The BSE Sensex closed 465.28 points down at 27827.53 on Thursday, while Nifty settled 153.90 points down at 8591.25. Benchmark indices plunged after Defence Ministry confirmed that India conducted surgical strikes on Pakistan terrorist camps on Wednesday night in the aftermath of Uri attack. In broader market, all BSE sectors have ended up in negative zone, where SmallCap index has lost 4.02% and MidCap index has lost 3.60%. Bharti Airtel, TCS and Zee Entertain are the Top Gainers, while BHEL, Adani Ports, Aurobindo Pharm, Hindalco and ICICI Bank are the Top Losers today.
